SAN ANTONIO (Feb. 6, 2019) — Harland Clarke, a leading provider of omni-channel, customer engagement solutions, today announced that Jana Schmidt has been named CEO. Harland Clarke’s strategy is to connect businesses and people how, when and where it matters by delivering payment and marketing services that drive customer engagement in every relevant way across channels to increase acquisition, improve activation, deepen relationships and retain them for the long term.

Since November 2017, Schmidt served as the president of Harland Clarke where her leadership has produced strong outcomes in deposit and loan acquisition and retention, as well as customer onboarding and activation through digital and analog channels. During that time, she also initiated the transformation of Harland Clarke, whose legacy is rooted in checks and other payment products, to an organization that is focused on helping clients connect with customers at every touchpoint throughout the entire relationship lifecycle.

Earlier in her career, she served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Harland Clarke where she led the national sales and marketing teams, in addition to running the company’s Marketing Services division.
