Harland Clarke Receives 2013 Gold Hermes Creative Award

Marketing Services Creative Team’s Work with PNC Business Credit Acknowledged for Outstanding Achievement in Direct Mail; B2B Win is Second in Two Years

San Antonio, TX — Harland Clarke has received a 2013 Gold Hermes Creative Award for its marketing services work with PNC Business Credit, a division of PNC Bank. The winning entry was for the PNC “Done Deals” 2012 campaign in the business-to-business direct mail campaign category. This is the second year that Harland Clarke’s marketing services creative team has won a gold Hermes for its work with this client.

The current winning campaign features a high-impact brochure, as well as a series of oversized postcards that promote PNC Business Credit’s success in financing hundreds of deals for middle-market companies and private equity groups. The 2011 campaign focused on raising awareness of the PNC’s track record in closing complex, multi-million dollar deals.

For more than a decade, Harland Clarke has provided PNC Bank with marketing services including strategy, analytics and customer contact and program management solutions. “We are excited to receive back-to-back awards, but even more gratified that this creative campaign continues to demonstrate PNC Business Credit’s market leadership as it further strengthens customer relationships,” said Keith Henry, senior vice president and marketing manager for PNC Financial Services Group.

“PNC Business Credit has a compelling story to tell. We enjoy a great partnership with them and are happy to help them go to market with powerful creative that resonates with their target market,” said Kris Niblett, creative director, Harland Clarke Marketing Services.
