Harland Clarke Corp. Announces Executive Promotions

Singleton, Wheeless and Ebrey Named to New Roles 

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — (May 17, 2012) — Harland Clarke Corp., a leading provider of payment, marketing and security solutions to financial institutions, is pleased to announce recent executive appointments within its leadership team:

Dan Singleton was named chief executive officer in addition to his role as president of Harland Clarke. Singleton has been a leader in the payment solutions industry for most of his 29-year business career. Since joining Harland Clarke, his executive duties have included responsibility for business development, strategy, manufacturing, sales, and marketing. Singleton was named chief operating officer in 2008 and president in 2009.
Brad Wheeless was named executive vice president and chief operating officer. Wheeless will be responsible for all operations for Harland Clarke, including print and production; logistics, engineering, customer sales and services, client services, and analytics and business intelligence. Wheeless was previously executive vice president of Operations.

Rick Ebrey was named senior vice president of Sales. Ebrey will be responsible for all sales activities for the company’s payment solutions, marketing services and security solutions lines of business. Ebrey was previously senior vice president of Sales of the company’s Major Markets division.
