It is time to “Get Connected” at the 2007 Connections user conference. This annual conference of more than 1,500 bankers and industry professionals is hosted by Harland Clarke’s sister company, Harland Financial Solutions. Representatives from Harland Clarke will be on hand to unveil the company’s new logo and brand position for payment solutions and marketing services.
The conference is being held Sept. 19 – 22 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. Registration spots are still available. This year’s agenda includes pre-conference workshops, hands-on product sessions, product-specific lecture sessions and an executive track, which features some of the brightest minds in the industry.
This interactive conference allows Harland Financial Solutions product users to learn new ideas, strategies and tips to help their institution operate more efficiently. All software and technology products will be on display, with knowledgeable people on hand to help others learn more about the products they use as well as products they may have interest in.
The conference also features multiple power networking opportunities, including open house receptions, a partner expo and product labs. These sessions allow attendees to mingle with their peers and benefit from each other’s experiences with Harland Financial Solutions products.
Connections 2007 will open with keynote speaker Jamie Clarke, a dedicated adventurer and three-time Canadian Junior Cross-Country ski champion. After two attempts, he became the ninth Canadian to summit Mount Everest. His sheer determination will be magnified in his keynote address, where he will discuss how people must face and conquer their internal battle of self-awareness to become supportive members of any team that faces challenges together.
The conference will close with Mike Rayburn, an award-winning speaker known as the World’s Funniest Guitar Virtuoso. He uses his astounding guitar creations, uproarious songs and presentation skills to encourage, challenge and inspire audiences to step beyond their perceived limitations.
